Thank you for this opportunity. I learned a lot about the living and enjoying the life. Not only Listening to the teachers advices was great experience but also Watching their behaviors gave me a great sense of calmness. Thanks again.

I feel like every activity served its purpose and for the 12 days I was there I have learned so much. The friendship I made, the lessons I learned cannot even compare to anything else. I’m just very happy and grateful to be able to participate in this project. If there is anything I could help/ do for the next project, I would be willing to help out.
Pottery and self defense class; i was hesitant at first to join because I’ve done pottery classes twice in Taiwan however it was the right decision to join. I have learned a lot and it was such a great bonding time with the others

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am really grateful that I was accepted to be a volunteer of this camp. I was not expecting that the past 12 days would have such a big impact on me. Not only did I learn more about rural life but I also got to know myself more. We’ve only spent less than 2 weeks in 三和 but it already felt like home more than Taipei where I’ve stayed for almost a year. My body might be tired and my muscles on some days were sore because of farm work, but my heart was full of love, my mind was peaceful, and my soul was happy. Thank you Camille and Kamala, thank you for being a mother and a sister ❤️

Thank you so much for having me, and for accepting all of us exactly how we are. I truly was pushed out side of my comfort zone and there found a lot of fun and peace!!!! So happy I got to be apart of this project! I will never forget this experience and all I learned.

After doing the volunteership, I have different kind of feelings. On the one hand I feel I’ve been really helpful to participate on this project and very grateful to the people who recieved us, the volunteers and organisers, and also the village people which whom we spent time with. Every day, they seemed very happy to see volunteers from around the world being there, and they were very open to share their culture, food, music and other taiwanese traditions with us.
On the other hand, I feel I didn’t have enough time to connect with some people, maybe it’s because the 2 weeks passed very fast for me, or maybe it’s because my personality. Being an introvert it’s not an easy thing when it comes to interact with larges groups of people. Even so, all people I’ve met there were really open and kind, and I’ve met people who have become so important to me in a short time.
Finally, I just want to say I’m so glad I’ve participated in this project, and all the experiences I’ve lived in the workcamp (and after it), all the things I’ve learnt and all the people I’ve met will be always in my heart.

Dear Camille & Kamala,
I want to thank you for all the energy, conviction and love you put into this project. The willingness to give and share is what I’m most grateful for while I joined your adventure for this short period of time. I didn’t realise before I came how much emotional impact we would bring to this community. I am also happy that for most of us, you turned this “holiday-working camp” into a transformational personal experience. I really hope you’ll succeed in duplicating and expanding your convictions.

Take care
